I am a PhD-level scientist in the field of Oncology with over 10 years of international experience in biomedical/basic research with strong background in biochemistry, molecular biology and cellular biology.
I am keenly interested and highly motivated in the study of the molecular mechanisms underlying the development, recurrence and therapy resistance of brain tumors, specifically Glioblastoma. Understanding the mechanisms that regulate the cancer stem-like cell population survival and resistance is crucial in the development of novel effective therapies for the treatment of Glioblastoma.
