- Dr. Bang's research focuses on organizational behavior and human resource management in sport, particularly volunteers' motivation, attitudes and intention to stay in the context of sporting events and nonprofit sport organizations. Her recent research also includes sport participation and positive development of children and adolescents. Her articles have been published in a wide range of leading sport management journals (e.g., Journal of Sport Management, Sport Marketing Quarterly, and International Journal of Sport Management and Marketing) and top-tier journals in the relevant fields (Children and Youth Services Review, Psychological Reports, and Journal of Community Psychology). She currently serves as an Associate Editor for Event Management and on the editorial board of the Journal of Korean Alliance of Martial Arts.
