abstract

  • The authors now know that multicellular invertebrates extending all the way from sponges and corals to echinoderms and protochordates possess a highly discriminating capacity for allogeneic immunorecognition leading to incompatibility reactions. This brief presentation is intended to provide an update on newer work promising insights of substantial biomedical interest.
