  • A novel separation technique for aqueous nanoparticles (NPs) is developed via a phase transfer based separation. By using anti-charged surfactant in oil phase, small sized NPs can be extracted into the oil phase, leaving large sized NPs in the aqueous phase. Thus, the separation is achieved. © 2012 The Royal Society of Chemistry.
