abstract

  • The observation of fluorescence properties of cerium doped inorganic scintillator GSO, PbF2 and BaF2 using synchrotron radiation as an exciting source at the Beijing Synchrotron Radiation Facility and nanosecond time resolution techniques were described and discussed. Fluorescence output of scintillator may be changed by doped cerium. The influences of doped cerium on fluorescence output and delay time were discussed. The spectrums of different doped scintillator time decay were given.
